Returning for another visit are Don & Dianne Kramer from Dyersville, Iowa to present “Our Neighbor’s the Amish”. This presentation is suitable for older teens and adult audiences and covers numerous aspects of the Amish lifestyle and beliefs. The Kramers encourage comments, questions, and Amish anecdotes from the audience.

            The couple is surrounded by three Amish communities, and it has been through their interactions with the Amish- plus extensive research- they have been able to gather, organize, and present their “findings” about these humble, kind, and intriguing people. Don and Dianne truly love sharing what they’ve learned and they are looking forward to their visit to the Sumner Public Library on October 5 from 6:00-8:00pm. There will also be a small selection of Amish-baked cookies and breads to sample during the presentation’s intermission.
